How does this hat hold up in the rain and snow? Will it keep my head and face dry?

I was very apprehensive about wearing it during the snow blowing and shoveling this past winter. I decided to give it a shot since its advertised that its water resistant and it was great. It was covered with snow an inch thick. Shook it off a few times, ended up placing it on a flat surface for a couple of days and it was just fine. It kept its shape, size was good too. The band I got rid of and got the one from the Good the Bad the Ugly now. It is a nice look for the hat. Its adjustable, keeps its size nice too. Its a great look, no matter the area. The color is a very nice green. I am getting another to keep better care of since the price came back down for now. Not from Sheplars due to their returns policies. You pay $30 easy. I would jump on it from somebody else. Del Monico is too high. Outdoor equipped is vet owned and cheaper.
