You can easily slip a wide belt through the loops and clip. The magnet is strong and holds down the flap very well. I don't really think a phone holster looks great...but for a side holster, this one looks good and it is so convenient. Very pleased with this choice.

There are two belt straps that you loop your belt through to hold the phone carrier in place. Literally after one week they gave way and ripped off and the holder fell to the ground. In this case I felt it right away and picked it off the sidewalk, but it could have been a lot worse. Maybe it was a one time defect but I find it hard to believe that both straps would fall off at the same time.
