Review: Best pencil in red - I discovered Ticonderoga two years ago and I love them. The red ones are best for correcting homeworks with notes added in the margin. The eraser at the end of the pencil really rubs the 'fault' out like even a Staedtler cannot. I also have the plain pencils in black and they are perfect for drawing, writing and again the eraser is perfect. I recommend the Ticonderoga pencils in both black and red lead.

**Q: Are these pencils good for sketching?**
A: These are actually my favorite pencils to sketch with!

**Q: will this blue be visible when printed? thank you**
A: Yes, you can write on a document, then scan and print it out.  Your blue hand written notes will be visible.  They will be a light blue color.

**Q: can you use these on very thin paper such as scriptures?**
A: no. i purchased for that purpose and they do not work well. they mark very faintly and require several marks. also they are waxy and stretch the thin paper. they work very well on thick bleached paper.

**Q: Good choice for construction use?**
A: I use them in high rise construction. Scribe an x, hit the x with the red pencil and clear spray paint to seal it. Never a question from framers or iron workers about where my mark is.

I discovered Ticonderoga two years ago and I love them. The red ones are best for correcting homeworks with notes added in the margin.
