Is this a teak sealer? Looks like teak oil isn't recommended, but wanted to check to see if this is a sealer. Thanks!

Hello- Teak protector has a pigment that will help keep the wood its new honey brown color and prevent the teak from graying due to UV exposure. Teak shield (a different product) is a clear coat stain guard. Teak oil is not recommended by our manufacturers. Hope that helps, thank you!

Do you have to apply protector every year?

We live on the water, therefore we use the protector 2 or 3 times a year. It has been 8 years now and our teak still has its golden color. great product. Worth every penny!

Will the three liters treat 8 chairs and one table? also, i read that the sealant should be sprayed on then wiped with a cloth. thoughts?
