The book, however, is smaller than I expected; not by page count, but by actual height and width. It's small. I am also not saying it's good or bad that it's small, simply that it is. We bought this book for our 5 year old to teach her about the different seasons. The pictures are beautiful, and the description of each season is short and on point. The book, however, is smaller than I expected; not by page count, but by actual height and width. It's small. I am also not saying it's good or bad that it's small, simply that it is. I was expecting something taller and wider. I will post a picture later.

I bought this book to create a lesson plan based on one season (autumn), however, I am very glad I made this purchase. The photos are beautiful, and have clear and large descriptions that explain in simple language for children the main characteristics of each season and what people commonly do within a season. I highly recommend it!
