Works well with the Fumoto valve.
No more messy oil changes. Before I would end up looking like I had just finished a wresting match with an oil drenched bear. Now, I just look like I gave it a hug. Recommend.

I'm using two of these, one on a 2016 ...
I'm using two of these, one on a 2016 Outback and another on a Subaru BRZ. So far these work exactly as advertised (just don't over tighten, I believe 22 ft lbs is correct, not the 28 required for the factory Oil Plug). I'm planning on getting a 3rd one for our other car. For the BRZ (or FR-S), definitely stay with the "S" type.

Perfect addition for oil changes
I bought this with the fumoto valve and it makes oil changes super clean. Works exactly how it should and is a great cheap option for making oil changes cleaner

Love my Fumoto valve - but this overpriced frail plastic connector makes me want to send it all back
Fumoto Valve - awesome. Clear tubing - good. Plastic connector between tubing and Fumoto valve - brutal. I want Fumoto's engineers to put down the donuts and put their hands in synthetic oil. Then I want these CAD warriors to slide that frail plastic connector off of the Fumoto valve after changing the oil in their vehicles. I guarantee they will immediately recognize the futility in that exercise and come up with a better grip surface than the teflon style plastic surface of this current design. Most gear heads will immediately want to go to a pair of pliers to grab the connector and pop it off...word of caution, if you do, you will be buying a new connector as you will undoubtedly shatter the frail plastic connector in the process. Given the price of a set of connectors - for what they are - you may just regret buying the Fumoto in the first place or forget how awesome/convenient the valve is because the tubing connector will drive you bonkers. If...IF..i buy another Fumoto (I have 2 now) for my other Jeeps, I will buy the longer version so I can push fit enough tubing directly over the nipple on the valve to secure it to drain...will i be using the plastic connector - straight or elbow??? NEVER AGAIN. Come on Man!!!!

Good for a couple times
I really liked the idea behind the accessory, mainly the snap on barb fitting. The only downside to the fitting is that it is thin walled on the section that adapts to the fumoto valve. Mine cracked after about three uses. After that I decided to simply leave it installed on the valve for the next oil change. That was ultimately a bad decision as the adaptor melted and deformed under the heat given off by the oil inside the pan. This rendered the adaptor useless and I simply continued to just slip a hose over the end of the valve protrusion. The heat thing makes me question if the internals of the valve are rated for the heat range. I’d hade to spring a leak under normal operating conditions. If anything people should get a “bag of 20” for the cost and at least 5 feet of tubing.
