Did a rod bearing change on my 03 3.8 mustang works great if you catch it on time make sure to sand down ALL surfaces before replacing rod bearings (inside of rod bearing caps and all the way around the surface just for a few seconds to get smooth touch, then sand crank shaft for smooth finish) and Go a thicker oil weight than normal this will forsure get you a few extra thousand miles. PRIME ENGINE OIL BEFORE FIRST START
