I purchased the extender to remote the control devices on my telescope. When attaching these control devices using standard USB cables longer than 8 feet the connections will fail. I purchased short USB cables to attach the telescope to the this hub, and remote the CAT6 cable 75 feet to my laptop without any failures. This is a great product! ### ⭐ Dead on arrival *by Z***Z on March 30, 2018* Great in theory and all, but when the one you get is a brick out of the box your never happy. To clarify the "remote" box doesnt work.
