will I receive a new washer with my nozzle

I have ordered two and they both came with a new washer.

Does the rubber outer casing protect hands at all from excess heat build up from hot water being run through the hose & nozzle?

I would get a commercial nozel made for hot water the outer casing on this will soften up and expand so that it will slip and will still burn hands

Does this have the rubber on the nossle? I've read some reviews here stating it doesn't while others say yes. Looking for clarity before ordering.

Mine did not have a rubber cover on it, which i would not have wanted anyway. I have to say, though, that this is the finest replacement for my old timey brass nozzle that anyone could find. It is solid brass, well made and works like a charm. As i recall, the one I ordered was not pictured with the rubber cover. In today's world, most things are watered down (no pun intended) on quality, this item was not.
