Our family purchased a home with a covered up mold problem that went unnoticed during the inspection, appraisal, realtor and purchasing process. We have purchased several other books before this one. This one is the best for the money without hiring a Certified Industrial Hygienist. If we would have known what is written on these pages for the mere $21.95, we could have saved ourselves much time, money, our health and nerves. The book is categorized very nicely. The author and publisher really made this very informative, educational and it seems to be a labor of love.

Libro muy interesante sobre una de las peores plagas que está presente en la totalidad de las viviendas, en menor o mayor grado, con una edición cuidada, es una gran guía para principiantes en las reformas y también para expertos que tengan curiosidad en saber como se combate esta plaga en el Reino Unido. _ Fotos algo pequeñas pero de buena calidad _ Información bien organizada y texto muy claro _ Libro en inglés, basado en la normativa británica con ejemplos sobre varios tipos de construcción existentes en ese país. A parte de varios apéndices y recursos, la información se organiza en 11 capítulos: _ Qué es y de donde proviene el moho _ Como afecta a nuestra salud _ Como detectar su presencia _ Cómo realizar pruebas _ Principios básicos de limpieza _ Contratar un especialista _ Cobertura de seguros _ Cómo gestionar el continente de la vivienda antes de una actuación _ Qué esperar de un especialista _ Materiales y sistemas constructivos resistentes _ Consejos de mantenimiento El texto no es muy profundo en las soluciones técnicas, pero además de dar una visión moderna y general sobre como combatir el moho, aporta información y parámetros importantes que también podemos aplicar en España.
