Genki Textbook and Workbook 1 , 2 , Answer Key ( Third Edition) , Hiragana and Sentences Chart

Genki 1 and 2 is the gold standard for learning Japanese. I think this package is an excellent deal. It's cheaper than buying all the books individually. I like the illustrations that go with the text. They tell stories, which helps solidify the meaning of the words in my head. In addition, I am using the Pimsleur course Japanese 1-5 app and practicing with my brother who is fluent. Of course, I also watch anime and try to read manga. I am rapidly increasing my verbal skills and making ok progress on my reading.

So excited to now have a proper study source! The books are in amazing condition :) no complaints here ^•^

My husband and I are both learning Japanese. We did our research separately and both read that Genki was a good resource for motivated self-study. I had found this bundle and realized the price was good compared to buying separately, but asked my husband to look as well. He came to the same conclusion. I have been using the books and charts for a week and they're really helpful. We're taking the JLPT N5 in Dec and I have been memorizing vocabulary, using different apps, and watching online videos for months. But I have been struggling with putting the pieces together and the book does that in a way that has been hard to do on my own. It explains things very well. I am glad I bought from this seller because the laminated charts are very handy. I use them when I'm on the go and need a quick reference - they are very thoughtfully designed. The shipping was fast and the books came packaged nicely and pristine.

i am a new learner of japanese and saw that genki was regarded as one of the best japanese language textbooks, so i knew i wanted to try it out. it’s expensive to order the books individually, so i was surprised to see this bundle! it has everything you need: textbooks AND workbooks for genki 1+2, the answer key (a NEED for self study), a helpful hiragana/katakana chart, and even a large booklet of some common phrases! everything came in brand new, perfect condition. i’m so excited to dig into these! i definitely recommend this bundle for those looking into the genki series!

A complete set of learning material. I used the Genki system when I took Japanese In community college around 2010. Over ten years later I wanted to continue Japanese learning on my own. My first thought was Genki! This product presents step by step learning Similar to the way children learn in elementary school. Writing, sight words, reading, listening, and speaking. Pretty simple system that gave me the confidence to speak, read, and listen on my visit to Japan after I finished volume 1. Well worth the price and time spent on learning with Genki.

Love it so far. Very easy to go through and learn. Used Nakama in the past and struggled a bit. Teaches things you would use very early in Japanese like ordering food and identifying family. Is geared to college students tho, so teaches those words first. I like it alot. Highly recommend if learning on your own since you have the answer booklet. Renewed my love of the language since I quit it for a few years out of frustration. I am not a new learner tho, so someone new may find the learning more challenging, but it is good overall. Hence "genki" lol.

A great resource for begining learners. The app it directs you too has the audio lines up in the files in the order you need to use them. Fining the book in the app is as simple as scanning the bar code. Getting this complete set is the best way to go.

Ho comprato alcuni Libri per iniziare lo studio della li giapponese. Ho ritrovato diverse similitudini strutturali nelle lezioni come nei libri di inglese che usavo a scuola e questo mi ha aiutato. Il vero plus di Genki è l’enorme quantità di video-lezioni su YouTube che sono state preparate su questi libri di testo come per esempio Tokini Andy e Game Gengo
