Keeper - 18" x 18" Bungee Safety Flag

Nice warning flag. Heavy duty material that doesn't tear itself apart flapping at highway speed. Funny how some people can't figure out the bungee yet, can drive trucks... It is a pretty simple adjustable hook on one end, with a fixed ring on the other. Pull the tag end to adjust length, then stretch around load, hooking the ring. Anyway, it satisfies the law, flaps around and gets the attention of idiots who already don't notice 6 feet of neon kayak sticking out, supported by a frame covered in red and white reflective tape, even though it is day time, and all they have to do is look without a phone attached to the side of their heads. But I digress... It works on lumber, PVC, kayaks, rolls of old carpet, you get the idea. It's a flag... You can get the trash bag ones from the hardware store, or have something beefy that you keep in the truck for the day's your "friends" ask you to haul stuff because you were the only schmuck in your circle to buy a truck... ;)

Worked pretty good. The elastic wears out over years but so much more handy that relying on the home store to have flags, twine and such.

Stowed it in the truck. Bright orange, tough material and a bungee type strap to fasten on just about any load. Having had to carry my old car’s complete exhaust system in my trunk to the repair shop when it fell off, I decided my next vehicle would be better prepared.

I was shocked how difficult it was to find a boring old safety flag for hauling my kayak that extends beyond the trailer. The price of some of them was outrageous for what they are. I am really happy I settled on this one. The price was appropriate and it came with a very usable bungee cord that most do not. Also, this exactly meets a lot of state regulations for overhanging loads. This wasn't a concern for me so much but may be for some truckers.

Very handy when you are hauling kayaks in your truck bed. Just make sure bungies are tight. This is the second one i bought because the wife put it on and didn't check tightness and it blew off on the way home from the lake.

My first use was on a load of galvanized tin on ac4 hour trip. I had concerns that the sharp edges of the tin would cut the flag, but it held up like a champ. It’s open weave construction should allow it to dry quickly if it gets wet and it seems to be a tough flag. Very pleased with this purchase.

They are sturdy and good for rain and wind relief due to the mesh. The strap however with the hook isn't well thought out as you can't hook it through the second eye, its too small. I ended up using black cable ties to keep it to the rails. I would recommend these to anyone. I expect to have these for many years.

You own a truck, you're going to be asked to carry stuff. Sometimes that stuff is going to stick out. And the laws require some of these things to be flagged. This flag works well! Use it on our kayaks all the time

Great material that won’t break down in the wind. Came in handy on a long drive up north.

It’s hard to believe that my local hardware store didn’t have this item. Can’t beat the price and does the job.
