This is the best brand of cough drop on the market. The original Fisherman's Friend is stronger than the Cherry but I find that the Cherry flavor is more palatable and works just as well. I carry them everywhere because I never know when my allergies are going to cause a coughing fit. I highly recommend this product!

What is better than Fisherman's Friend Throat Lozenges? Fisherman's Friend Cherry Throat Lozenges, because they not taste like Fisherman's Friend! I've been using Fisherman's Friend for decades and have always described them as tasting like a doctor's office. You don't use them unless you need to and even then, you are reluctant. The cherry ones are a huge improvement in taste and while you still won't mistake them for one of the sugary candy-like lozenges that so many companies make, you at least won't hesitate to use them when there are needed. Worth every penny when a cold or sore throat hits you.

I really like these because they aren't sugary and sticky. No need to have them individually wrapped. or have to pick off a paper wrapper from a sticky drop. However, after taking one (sometimes two) a night for about three days and sort of holding it in my mouth for a bit to soothe my sore throat, I realized that the roof of my mouth was starting to feel raw. That doesn't happen to me with a traditional cough drop. So yeah, don't do that. Also, when I googled it, I came across an NIH Library of Medicine study titled "Clinically significant interaction between warfarin and popular cough lozenges ‘Fisherman’s Friend’." That's not a concern of mine, but it might be to others.
