Does this have some shine to it? Also, how is it on thick hair? Thanks!

There's no shine really and it does work pretty well with thick hair. But, there are better hair products in general that I think work better than this for thick hair like Baxter of California Clay Pomade

Is this product re-workable. Say if you ride a motorcycle a mile to work everyday sometimes putting on a helmet and other days not?

I've been using it for about a month and haven't had your experience but I would say yes. I've noticed that after my hair has been done for a while that I can run my fingers through it and adjust if needed. It does seem to have more volume.
