She plays with it when she lays in her crib and snuggles it under her chin for sleep. She also likes to rub the silk part along her face and head to soothe. I like that it's breathable and comfy material, as well as the perfect size for a lovey. I have recommended to my best friend whose baby can't self soothe at all, hoping it helps her too. Cutting the plastic ties and trying to remove them from the blanket snagged the fabric in places making the holes bigger. As far as my daughter using it, I am not worried that she will not be able to breathe. It is a very light material.
