I was only able to test the USB 2.0, SD, and microSD ports, but they all worked well. It does have some quirks though...On using multiple card slots the manual says "three active card slots can be used simultaneously, allowing cross format data transfers. Note: Memory Stick and M2, Secure Digital and microSD slots shares the same slot respectively." I was able to transfer between SD and microSD though so I was happy enough.All of the USB ports and the SD/microSD slots are upside down. Not a major issue for me just disorienting. The little triangle next to the label of each slot indicates the direction of the contact points in the port. ie an up-triangle means the contact points are at the top, so you can see which ones will be upside down in the picture.Windows shows the unit as 4 removable disks in My Computer, whether or not a card or anything is connected to them. Kind of annoying to have them there all the time. I'd prefer they just show up when something gets connected as it's always been. If you go to Disk Management and remove the drive letters that get assigned it will hide them though. I did this for 2 ports I don't anticipate using much to remove some of the clutter of drives.The unit I received has a logo saying "upHere" next to the indicator light right above the USB 3.0 ports. I'd prefer no logo, but it is what it is.Another oddity of this unit is that the USB 2.0 cable that connects to the motherboard has 2 wires but just 1 connector. Both wires leave the back of the unit and converge at the connector, which means you have an extra cable to manage within the case for seemingly no reason.In addition to that my unit showed up with one of the USB ports looking a bit scuffed. Not really sure how to describe it, but it still works fine. Overall I think this unit is worth taking a chance over for $20-24, and seemed to be better quality than the $7 one I saw on here. But based on other reviews it seems like it could be a bit of a risk quality-wise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy access and inexpensive *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2016* Combined with a PCIe16 USB 3.0 upgrade card this device works quite well in older machines. I did have some driver issues with Widows but worked flawlessly in Linux Mint. It's versatile, easy access and inexpensive. The faster speed of USB 3.0 when used with a 3.0 connection to your motherboard is awesome for those really big files. ### ⭐⭐ Upside Down USB Ports. *by M***B on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2017* The USB Ports are all upside down. Could not see the led lights on my USB sticks because of the ports being upside down. Some of the ports were hard to put in the USB sticks. I returned it. There are better ones at a lower price. I bought it for the USB 3.0 and Esata ports.
