Zoolander No. 2: The Magnum Edition

Its best to see the first Zoolander movie first, but, as sequels go, this one is better than most! Filmed on location in Rome, Italy, It has all the original cast except for Christine Taylor, who played Matilda, the journalist. That includes Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Jerry Stiller, Wil Ferrell, and Justin Theroux. Matilda is well made up for by the addition of a great new lineup of stars!! Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wigg, Fred Armisen, Sting, and Benedict Cumberbatch. It seems that when they started filming, EVERYBODY wanted to be in it! Watch it!

First watched this when it came out and was disappointed. Rewatched it recently and loved it. Just as well done as the original.

It's not the same format as the first movie, but it was still hilarious. I think people who saw the first one so long ago expected the sequel to have grown up and matured with them. But it didn't grow up. It's just as childish as the first. The movie feels a little more put together than the first movie, but that isn't a bad thing. It isn't clear to me if this will be a cult classic as much as the first, but I have hope.

Great movie, only bad thing is that the code for the digital copy is expired

SO, it took me a couple years to fully appreciate the first Zoolander, but once I did, it's become one of my all time favorites. The art of enjoying Stiller's comedic style is to let go of reality, get in the zone, and just laugh at it. Maybe have a margarita first. Then laugh a lot, and very hard. I'm grateful that he has given us the goofy yet brilliant pair- Zoolander and 2oolander. If you think it could have been done better a) you're wrong, and b) go do a movie yourself and see what happens. Saw 2 in theater along with about 20 other people total on opening weekend, and that made it even funnier as each group seemed to catch something in the background others of us hadn't- but became aware of by their independent laughter. I happened to be the one with the dubious honor of noticing the bulges in the pants in the boating scene... and if that's not funny to you, then there is an insurance seminar needing your help somewhere, go there instead. Life is far too short and precious not to just relax and enjoy a silly, childish joke.

I love Zoolander and Zoolander 2!

This is a very funny film. It includes an all star cast and a superbly rediculous script. See Zoolander first, then this one. A true evening's fun.

I know I'm in the minority but maybe because the movie doesn't break any new ground it is being ignored and given low ratings. Stiller and his co writer obviously did their homework and didn't Stray from original story line and that's what I loved about it. Erik Zoolander as well as Owen Wilson's characters have stayed the same ,haven't grown at all,are still looking for the answer of why are they here. The fact that they use the same feel of the first movie Zoolander makes it feel grounded and therefore easy to slip back into the character's lives.Penolope Cruz as Erik's love interest is hot.

Regalato ad un estimatorie di Stiller, un po' deluso da questo film. DVD arrivato perfettamente funzionante.
