Go with this if weight is not a concern. For my project, I went with MLV in the "light" version at .5 lb per square foot. Cascade Audio Engineering had the product you want and I see that it is even available right here on Amazon. It is called VB-4.5 (type in Cascade Audio Engineering VB-4.5. Also available in the heavier VB-4. Boom Mat has its benefits, but sound control isn't one of them.
