I waited for a month of taking this collagen to evaluate what it does. I originally purchased collagen on recommendation from physical therapist to strengthen post operative tendons in my ankle. I first noticed that my toenails had changed from dry, whitish to normal pink and healthy looking, my fingernails stronger and my hair healthier as well. Within the month my ankle has made substantial improvement. I have been in PT and on program for some time so expected improvement however the ankle is mobilizing noticibly better with this collagen . I just began the second month of taking so am looking forward to continued improvement. I do take all 3 capsules at one time - they are easy to swallow and have had no adverse GI or other effects. I have recommended this product to others as a result of my successful outcome. I am reviewing again because I changed to another product with 1-3, 5 and 10 in a scoop to add to my shakology in the am. For reasons that may be other than change in product, nails and hair have detererioted over past months. I elected to reorder this product that arrived to my metal mailbox in 90+ degree heat and concerned that product was affected. Codeage IMMEDIATELY responded to replenish the order. My nails, after a week, are much better - maybe due to no gel polish but looking forward to reposting in a few weeks. Thank you Codeage for exemplary customer service. I had seen lots of people say the issues with brittle hair, and dull skin is lack of collagen. My skin is very sensitive, and topical creams and etc tend to break me out, so I decided to try these. Honestly it has been a life saver with my acne. See my pics below. Within weeks my hair was growing fast at the root I didn’t take many pics of my hair bc I’m not straightening it for a while so I can’t show the difference when it’s wavy. My skin began to clear drastically, but also my fake nails needed filled quickly bc my real nails grew so fast. Also noticed a major difference in how long my lashes were. I originally got this for better looking skin and long hair. However, my hormones were definitely affected by this. Most of my acne was on my chin which is indicator it’s hormonal and it was clearing up. My period was less severe cramping and bleeding, but my hormones were adjusting so it came very late, and had some spotting beforehand when taking these pills. My eye lashes grew longer than before however so did all other body hair, just have to keep up with it. My appetite decreased and I noticed I was losing weight. Checked the bottle and apparently it helps with that too, added bonus I guess. I really like that it’s all natural, non gmo, organic ingredients because I am very sensitive to medications, and supplements in general so other than my hormones being a little out of whack I had no problems with this product. It’s intended to be taken 3 times daily, but I take it twice a day once in morning, once at night. It’s supposed to help with regulating better sleep, but I suffer from insomnia so I didn’t notice that too too much. My main complaint for this product is when my body was first getting used to it my anxiety was a little out of control. But now that I’m used to it, I can take it with no sort of emotional or mental problems. I’ve had friends asking about my skin and hair, and I have referred this to them. I’d like to start taking 3 times a day. But I feel I get so much more use, using only twice a day. I love this. I’ve been taking it for about a month and have already seen a significant difference in my hair, weight and Skin!

Reasons I ordered this product: I suffer a wide variety of conditions that benefit from collagen supplementation. This is one of the few products that contains collagen I, II, III, IV and V. It comes in easy-to-swallow capsules. I ordered this product because I was interested in taking a product that had all types of collagen in it. I tried a liquid collagen product but it came in individual servings in plastic tubes that were messy and I didn't like the excessive plastic packaging. I couldn't find a sugar-free gummy collagen that matched the ingredients in this product. I have to watch carbohydrate counts and sugars when I take supplements. This product is a powder that comes in easy-to-swallow capsules. The recommended dosage is three capsules a day (or more if desired.) The capsules are easily swallowed and are tasteless. I have not experienced any upset stomach or digestive problems using this product. It's too soon for me to say for certain I am benefiting from taking this product as I have not yet finished my first bottle but I will be re-ordering it. I suffer from right hip degeneration and arthritis, as well as dry skin and brittle nails. I believe all of these conditions are improving and will continue using this product until I repeat my laboratory and imaging studies to verify improvement in my existing conditions. I believe that the product is a good value and would recommend it to anyone interested in taking a comprehensive collagen supplement.

So these pills are good BUT you should use the same brand's powder version of this product. The powder version is similar in price but has 3 times as much collagen per serving, so for the same price you get a much better product and more collagen. However, the pill is of course easier to take and you can take it anywhere with anything to drink. For example, you can take the collagen pill to a friends house and take it at an event or on a plane or where ever. The powder you will have to blend with something so you can only take it if you have a blender with you. Also, the powder has a strong (semi unpleasant) taste, so it has to be blended with flavorful food/ drink.
