So easy to set up: just plug in the XLink to a power supply, plug the phone into the XLink, and push one of the buttons to pair it (via Bluetooth) with my mobile phone. In fact, it is paired with two different phones. It worked great with my original Princess phone and now works great with my Crosley Princess reproduction. (including the wall mounted Trimline in the water closet - VERY handy when business is in process). Then I thought that someone must have figured out how to breathe new life into that legacy equipment. Enter Xtreme Technologies XLink! This reasonably priced little device connects easily to the existing wiring of the home and lights-up quite a few of those old phones - even my Dad's old Western Electric model 2500 works like it did on POTS. I put my unit on the nightstand near my cell phone's wireless charger. The XLink is easy to install (as others have noted - be sure to disconnect your home from the telephone service at the demarc - typically just unplug an RJ-11). The only dig on the unit is that it has a seemingly dominant bluetooth connection which appears to take over when using the connected cell phone's "handset" or speakerphone features. Not too big of a deal - sometimes I just disable the cell phone's bluetooth when directly using that phone at the house.
