If I've picked up debris with it, I can shake it out, then wash. What I save vs paper towels, multiple rags (which wear out years sooner) & dryer usage, per 1 shammy, they more than pay for themselves. So fair in price & such great quality. Ordered these with trepidation, and just tried one last night! Hallelujah, it IS the fabric I’ve been searching for!!! These are large and you can cut them to size. Comparing to the ‘dog shop’ sample I have, at first this one seemed thinner, but I think it’s more of a textural difference. This one is smoother. The other one is more like a blanket texture, if that makes any sense. BUT, I think they will do just fine.
