I honestly didn’t know what to expect from Afnan 9PM, but after actually wearing it, I completely understand why this fragrance gets so much hype. The first thing that hit me was bubblegum. Like, unmistakably bubblegum. It’s sweet, fruity, and almost candy like at first, but as it dries down, it becomes smoother, warmer, creamier, and more masculine. The lavender, vanilla, and tonka give it a lot more depth, so it never feels like you’re just wearing straight up candy. The performance is crazy too. On my clothes, this lasts forever and projects really well without needing a ton of sprays. It’s definitely more of a nighttime, cooler weather fragrance, but it’s perfect for dates, going out, parties, or anytime you want something sweet and attention grabbing. I also get a noticeably different experience on my skin versus my clothes. I absolutely love it on my shirt, while the opening on my skin took a little more time to grow on me. After letting the bottle sit for about a week, though, it smells amazing on my skin now. I think it just needed to mature a little bit since I get a very fresh batch. My wife actually prefers this over a lot of my other fragrances too. Some scents make her feel like her nose gets clogged/stuffy, but she says 9PM almost feels like it opens her airways up in a fresh/sweet way. No idea why, but I thought that was pretty interesting. For the price, the performance and how much depth this fragrance has are honestly hard to beat. It’s very uplifting. It’s sweet, fruity, creamy, playful, and masculine all at once without any one thing completely overpowering the rest. If you like sweet fragrances, bubblegum, vanilla, lavender, tonka, or just fun youthful scents that is still masculine, I’d definitely recommend trying 9PM. If you hate sweet fragrances, though, this probably isn’t for you. I went from being unsure about it on day one to considering it one of my favorite fragrances in my collection about a week later. I completely understand the hype now. EDIT: After wearing this for a while to a few clubs and a couple after party dinners, this has become my most complimented fragrance right above Valentino UOMO Coral Fantasy. 1000% pick this up, this is the best value for money you’ll find in a fragrance.

A lot of people warn against overspraying, but 3 sprays feels like the sweet spot for me right now (though since it’s brand new, it might gain even more potency after macerating for a couple of weeks). It’s versatile enough to wear almost anywhere, though it’s probably a bit too sweet for high-heat gym sessions. The bottle feels premium—heavy glass with a solid metal cap—and given the incredible price point, this is definitely staying in my regular rotation.

The longevity, the projection and the SMELL is A1 for this price. It’s a sweet fresh fragrance that averages 1-2 compliments whenever I wear it. I need to get more lol

I really like the way this one smells. It's a pretty simple bottle, but there's enough here to last a very long time unless you're the kind of person to bathe in your cologne (please spare the rest of us). Downside, it doesn't seem to last as long as it should. I stop being able to smell it after only 20-30 minutes. I don't know if that's just me going nose blind to it really quickly or if it's actually fading that fast, but hopefully it's the former.

I bought this original 9 PM because I heard the new 2026 "Night Out" version is a totally different scent and I really just wanted that sweet Ultra Male DNA without paying JPG prices. I’ve been using this bottle for about a month now and honestly for $35 it's kind of stupid how good the performance is. The bottle is a heavy chunk of glass that feels premium even if the plastic cap is still a little janky and barely clicks on. I almost sent it back after the first spray though. It smelled super synthetic and harsh almost like hairspray or something. I saw people on Reddit saying you have to "macerate" it-basically just spray it a few times and let it sit in a dark drawer for two weeks. I thought it sounded like a myth but it actually worked. After sitting for a bit that chemical edge disappeared and it turned into this thick spicy vanilla and apple scent that’s way smoother than it has any right to be. One word of warning: this stuff is a nuke. I made the mistake of wearing three sprays to the gym last week and I literally had to apologize to the guy on the treadmill next to me because it was so loud. It’s perfect for a bar or a date in the winter but it’s way too sweet for summer or a small office. My hoodie still smells like the dry down three days later. If you want a clubing scent that actually lasts until the next morning get this-just give it 20 minutes to settle before you leave the house.

9 PM is a great man’s cologne. Stay on all day. Don’t spray too much cause it can be a little overbearing but great especially for the price.

It smells premium, performs like an expensive high-end fragrance, but comes at a fraction of the price. The bottle and packaging also look great on my shelf. 10/10!
