1. First recharge takes a long time but it gives a very long lasting light in each charge. Used it for 4 hours and no issues. 2. With two intensity you can even increase the hours of use. 3. Good for home, if power ever is post but I use it for outdoors activity in winter. Can do both surely. Knowing what I know after using this. This is best option light to have with many uses.
