Maple Veneer 8" X 8", 7-Piece

Nice looking veneer! I'll be using for making fingerboards. Only slightly warped.

I was looking for a wood laminate that I could send through an inkjet printer and this works perfectly!! It rolls in the correct direction and I've made six or seven prints onto them- with only one or two jams- but not enough to break the printer fortunately.

My son bought this to make homemade finger boards with. Works perfectly, and he loves it.

Had an order of 10 sheets as I needed them for a wedding. I’m using the cricut maker for this project with a completely new needle to carve out the veneer. Every single sheet is warped. I CANNOT go for a stronger pressure on the machine without the sheet completely being torn apart. Even on a regular setting, the sheets still crack and break. Not as much but it’s definitely something I have to sit and watch to make sure it doesn’t completely ruin the piece. Takes well to ink, fine point and marker. Just upset I’ve ruined my 3 strong mats. Also, all pieces are crooked. You either get a tiny bit less than 8in or a tiny bit more but never in a straight line on either ends… I guess for any future costumers I’m going to have to up the price and just buy the cricut veneer to make sure I have a good flat, straight quality veneer. Photos would be shared but Amazon never allows me to upload them so getting my money back. Not worth it.

The only drawback I had was the size was 1/4” too short in the grain direction, but I knew that going in. The color I stained it to match the rest of the wood I used was very close. I used contact cement to adhere it to the ends of a fireplace mantel I built and it worked very well.

The quality of the wood appears pretty good. My main problem was that all 7 pieces arrived substantially warped. I would recommend better packaging to prevent this or at least instructions how to have these unwrapped.
