These were great. Make sure when you’re choosing that you pick one that has spring action like these. You can depress them about halfway to really line them up where you want it to go and then you hit that point where it just spring closes and it’s done. No chance for pain or hesitation. The backs then need to be pulled out so that they click into place and aren’t too tight. And my daughter said sleeping on them has been fine. Highly recommend.

I’m terrified of needles since some months ago I got a piercing with a needle and it was a horrible experience, it hurt really badly and I couldn’t sleep properly because of the pain on my ear. This literally was amazing. It didn’t hurt at all, my ears don’t hurt the next day, there’s no redness, there was no bleeding. This product is literally the best.

Super easy to use. I bought two pack so I can get a feel of the cartridge before using it on my baby girl. She is 4 months. I waited till she is asleep and swaddled, then sanitized and marked one ear. I had to slowly press the cartridge and carefully align it with the mark, and then the spring kicked in, and the earring was in. Baby started crying, but by the time I picked her up she was already done. She nursed a little back to sleep, and I did the same with another ear-and again, she only cried for a few seconds. Now it's been a few days, no signs of infection. I put some saline twice a day and rotate the earrings-that doesn't bother her one bit. I am very impressed. The plastic piece that is holding the earring got stuck on of of them. But I just carefully placed my nail between the plastic pieces and was able to remove it without hurting the baby. This is amazing. Quick, clean, and painless even for a baby. The earring are a little long for the infant. They seem to rub against the skin behind the ears a little if not careful, so you want to make sure you watch and avoid any kind of pressure on the ears first few weeks, and I would definitely change the earrings for flat back once the piercing heals.

I have multiple piercings and I’ve used quite a few of these kits over the years, but these are by far the BEST I’ve ever tried! Usually there’s a little bit of a sting or a hot sensation when you pierce your ears, but this one didn’t even feel like a pinch! Even after the piercing there was no pain. If you have a low pain tolerance or you’re piercing a child's ears, these are the best option. They won’t even feel it!

This was a really nice purchase. I did my helix piercing with it and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and painless it was. It’s been a week since I pierced it and I haven’t had any issues. I will be buying this again.

I would like to make ONE thing very clear when you purchase this DIY set. DO NOT INTERCHANGE THEM UNTIL THEY ARE HEALED! I tried to switch out immediately after piercing 1 ear and it backfired and I couldn't get either the fake earring or the real gold earring I bought to replace them, back in her ear. I will be keeping fake earring in on the other ear when I do that side (I did it before a bottle was due). Eventually I poked it through but it was miserable for her and me. So please don't make that mistake. The reason for 4 stars is I wish they had an option for these kits with REAL gold earrings and not just plated so I wouldnt have needed to interchange it. Purchased 2mm for 4th hole. 10/10! Spring loaded so super easy to use! Once you push half way through the spring activates and does the piercing for you. 10x better than the non-spring ones where you have to use your force to pierce. Back detached easily too (my previous piercer wouldn’t detach from the back= an hour long nightmare fighting with it!) Love that it comes with marker. Re-purchasing this one now for another set. Would recommend!!

Easy to use.

I had an ear piercing at a salon just a few weeks before using this product and would highly recommend this product over the salon. The salon was expensive and I experienced some pain. This product was great and with the spring loading the process is very quick and NOT painful whatsoever. I highly recommend it. I have used it myself and with another using it and making sure you get pierce the exact location it is easier with another person.
