StarKist Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water, 5 Ounce (Pack of 4)

I don't eat tuna very often, but my younger brother brought over some recipe cards from things my mother use to make on occasion when she was alive. One of them was tuna burgers. I made these things and it was like 1965 again. Eaten them 5 times since then. Getting ready to order more. Great stuff.

It's a good price for solid white albacore and Starfish I think is the best canned tuna. My wife came home with a chunk white which is not as good and sometimes even shows up with the one in oil on these other brands. Buy the four pack here and don't worry about hunting in the store. The price is always consistent and you get a good product.

If you cannot have fresh tuna, then this canned tuna is the next best thing. I was impressed that there was a good amount of tuna left in the can after the water was drained; this does not happen with other canned tuna. I love tuna casseroled, nontraditional kind with chopped carrots, celery, and fresh mushrooms plus cheese and green chiles; this canned tuna held up well and was delicious. Also used in traditional tuna salad sandwich and as an addition to a lettuce salad for a main course. Truly recommend

This product is a standard brand, one that I've often bought at a grocery store, and the price was excellent. But two of the eight cans in my order were dented. It didn't seem to degrade the product, but it's not ideal.
