With increased use of Maps and direction, was looking for a phone holder that will serve the purpose. What is Good: - Quality of build is outstanding - Magnet is of very high quality and quite powerful - Suction cap in the base unit has a nice modification of a re-usable gel that makes it really stick to the Windshield - Come with 2 self-adhesive metal strips to make it possible to have 2 phones to be used - Very stable even on rough roads - Since the holder is Magnet based, it really makes it easy to - Mount - Removal - Re-position These actions were a pain when use other holders. Best I liked is changing from Landscape to Portrait or otherwise is just one twist and no fear of dropping your phone. The self-adhesive metal sheet can be stuck to your protective cover or the phone directly. In my case I have just placed between the case and the phone and it still works great. If you are looking for a phone holder, look no beyond. These are the best I have used ever.

Would have received 5 stars if the magnet would have been a little more powerful. Other than that easy to mount and stays where you put it.

Purchased this mount towards the end of July and was optimistic as it felt well made and the magnet was really strong. However, over time the ball joint at the phone kept loosening so the phone would droop. Today, it was reasonably warm and the mount simply exploded, with the plastic seemingly failed inside the unit. I've contacted Tech Sense Lab customer support via FB (as their contact us page is down on their website) so will update the review based on the Customer Service experience in getting a replacement.

Kept falling off initially but after playing around a bit finally managed to create enough of a vacuum to keep the stand stable. Phone holds onto it nicely with the magnet strip between phone and cover. Recommended and very good price!

This is by far the best mobile holder I have used, period. I have been trying a few cheap ones whenever I go for any trip which usually lasts for 1 or 2 trips at max. Also, I was also fed up of placing the mobile in a particular position along with an added doubt of mobile screen size on the increasing trend. I came across this macbak holder while planning for my trip to Malshej Ghat (near Mumbai) and initially inclined towards the AC vent version. Later changed my mind and went for this version as I don't want to spoil my AC vents. Here are my observations Pros: - Magnetic holding power is just awesome. I have used it with Spigen Back cover and had no problem whatsoever even after placing the back plate in between - Have driven through a lot of bumpy roads (Thanks to potholes in and around Mumbai) and the mobile never fell down :) - My car had a pseudo leather finish on the dashboard, so I stuck to the dash window - Very quick delivery by Amazon prime :) Cons: - To nitpick something, only 2 back plates provided, a few extra would make this a sweet deal :) Tips: - After a few and trail method, I found the best way to use the mobile holders as instructed below - Instead of sticking to the phone back cover, one can simply paste it on the back case (a few of the reviewers said to keep it loose between the phone and the case, but I would suggest paste it, as keeping it loose will makes the plate to move here and there. I have tried it initially and faced many problems) - Also, paste it on the back case in a vertical position. Initially, i did in horizontal and could see some bump at the back, later removed and pasted it vertically with no visible bump, at least in my case - Added a few pics to showcase the above points Go for it, I would assure you the best experience :) Happy travelling
