Excellent!
Having just upgraded from an iPhone with a Lightning port to a iPhone 15 Pro with a USB-C port, I was looking for a way to connect the new phone to the infotainment system in my 2015 Golf R. I was shocked that VW doesn’t make such a cable given that Android users have been using USB-C for years. The research I did indicated that I probably wasn’t going to be able to access my phone’s music library using the cable, but I was hoping to at least charge the phone, given that I can also play music using Bluetooth. I just received the cable this afternoon and I’m happy to report that the cable does charge my phone, even though the infotainment system part number starts with “5G” and wasn’t supposed to be compatible. I’m glad to have a short cable that neatly stows away instead of having to put an adapter into the cigarette lighter and plug in a cable there, then run it past the shifter to my phone holder. It’s not a perfect solution but good enough, and very reasonably priced.

Does not work as Aux
It charges your IPhone but incredibly slow. It does not work as an aux for music at all. Do not recommend at all. For reference I tried it on my 2015 Q5

Overpriced car charger thank you Audi
I guess it does what it's supposed to I have not figured out this Ami system so far it charges my phone but that's it leave it to Audi to make everything 10 times the price with no function

Did not work with android
Not sure if the VW is incompatible with android or the cable doesn't function. Either way it did not work or me. The cable does appear to be of good quality.

Does the job
My husband says this cord does what it is suppose to- but it is a slow to charge and it is a short cord.

Charging station in older vehicle.
No longer need to use cigarette lighter adapter and bag of wires.

Doesn’t work.
The charge turns on and off as if there’s a bad connection. I tried everything to confirm that it’s seated properly in the car and in the phone. The product is faulty. I’ll buy another and see what happens.

It works perfect for what I needed. I used this for my VW Mdi cord and it works great! Thank you for giving me a cheaper alternative!
