The Glue That Refuses to Accept Defeat
I bought E6000 237040 Craft Adhesive for a small project. Three hours later I was walking around the house looking for other things to glue together because I had developed an unhealthy level of confidence in this product. This stuff sticks to just about everything and seems personally offended by the idea of coming apart. If duct tape and stubbornness had a child, it would be E6000. Just be careful where you put it, because once it decides two things belong together, your opinion on the matter becomes largely irrelevant. Great for crafts, repairs, and proving that some relationships really can last forever.

Good quality rubber cement!
Like all rubber cements, itโs just rubber mixed with a volatile solvent. In this case, E6000 is SBR (styrene butadeine rubber) mixed with tetrachloroethylene. Nasty stuff, but then all rubber cements are dangerous to some extent. Be sure not to get it on your skin and when you do, rub it off and wash up with soap and water immediately. I used this for a large project. So far, Iโve glued wood, fabric, metal, plastic and glass together. I roughed up the surfaces with sandpaper or a file or just a utility knife before applying the glue. I used the glue liberally, smearing it on as much surface area as possible. The excess that oozes out is easily wiped away. For the wood, metal and glass, I dipped a corner of a small rag in acetone and used it to clean up. I used a clamp to put pressure on the two objects being bonded. For flat objects l used a stack of books. I left it under pressure for 24 hours in a 55 F degree room and it bonded well. I let it cure for a few days before testing the actual strength of the bond, which is impressive. The heaviest item I used this with is 11 ounces and it is held by a 1 x 3 inch Velcro strip between wood and plastic. If you consider the amount of pulling force each time I yank the Velcro apart (at least a few dozen times now), itโs held up really well. I bought the black version, which applies and dries pitch black. I have no experience with the clear and white one. I grabbed a few plastic butter knives from a certain large fast food chain and use that to apply the glue. If you do use something similar like Popsicle sticks, then twirl it around a bit like you might with spaghetti on a fork. The glue tends to string up a bit as it hits the air and gets pulled apart. Generally, I prefer using a two part epoxy as they create stronger bonds, but this seems to work well enough for lighter weight items. That said, I did not use this on anything that flexes like clothing or on small items like rhinestones. I mostly glued LED light strips, battery packs, small solar panels, pieces of glass and tiles, cables and other things. If you're doing something similar, I recommend this as a viable alternative to an epoxy.

Great but Smells Awful
Hate the smell and will give you a headache if not wearing a mask or in a ventilated room but works perfectly for what I need it for. Itโs also very hard to remove off surfaces once it starts to dry if you make mistakes.

Great glue but product had been open and used
This glue is great! However, my package was opened and you could tell the tube hat already been used. It was already open under the lid and you could tell it had been squeezed. Very disappointing. Buy from this seller with caution.

Love this product!
I am writing this review for my 93-year young uncle for whom I purchased this [roduct at his request. My uncle is a handy guy who sows his clothes, and repairs all kinds of shoes, boots, and sandals. He's a gifted guy, and when he ran out of his E6000 adhesive he was heartbroken. He does not have a mobile phone or internet, so I offered to source it for him. When I gave it to him as a Xmas gift he was beyond happy. He loves this product E6000 soo much that he won't switch to another brand.
