Great trickle/float charger especially for the price. I recently bought a used motorcycle since I haven't ridden for about 6 years and hence no longer have a battery tender for one. Install was easy just like my previous ones and quality is on par if not better than my old one. I'm not sure why the cord length has had some negative reviews as this is the same length as my prior ones. The piece that attaches to the battery is long enough to sit outside the seat and easily be tucked back under when not in use. The cord from the charger is about 3 or 4 ft , same as my old one,which maybe people are talking about but personally,I've always had an outlet next to my bike so I never had any issues. If you don't have an outlet within that distance then yes ,you will need an extension cord. It also includes a quick connect cord with alligator clips so you can use it for stand alone batteries or just a battery without being hard wired.Although I use these for a motorcycle , they work for any 12v battery that you may have such as a generator,riding mower,etc. I'm very happy with the quality of this tender especially at this price. I don't forsee any issues with it at all. Definitely recommend especially If you live an area with winter and your bike will not be ridden for awhile, or even if you ride occasionally,these really do help with the maintenance on your battery. 100% recommended .

I have purchased 3 of these chargers. I mount it under the hood and use the ring adapters. After 3 years I somehow broke one of the plug ends off. I ordered another one and it works great. I ordered another to put on my sister-in-law's car. She leaves it set for weeks and then only takes short drives. I live in N.Dak. and -20 to -35 temperatures are not uncommon in winter. It keeps my battery fully charged and I have not had trouble starting my car at all. I was buying new batteries every 3 years, but I now have 5 years on this one.

Works great! Be patient and let it work. The red charging light will finally turn green. It took 12 hours. So happy with this charger, tender.

Bought this to keep a charge on a car I seldom use. I installed it (easy process) and it charged the dead battery within a day. Used the ring ended connector since it was going to be dedicated to just that car. Rings are big enough to fit bolts clamping the battery terminals. Lead was long enough I could probably mount the charger underhood. I also like that the alligator leads are insulated to end of clamp. Gonna buy another one for my lawn tractor. If I had one complaint, it would be that the indicator LEDs are dim and the only indication is power on and battery dead or charged. No reverse polarity indication or battery not saveable by flashing one or both LEDs.

Is a battery saver. It looks like it does what it is designed to do. I checked voltage on a battery that was about 12 volts then bought one of these battery savers. I have heard from some people that they work to desulfate the battery. According to what is in another add it strips the solids from the cells converting it back into the solution in the battery. This opens the cells up to more charge to become stored back into battery. It allows lead to be restored back due electroplating as a result of the charging process. I have seen results on a battery leaving it connected for a few days while operating the vehicle on the side then reconnecting it back. It helps to allow the larger charges from alternater to charge while driving at times. It allows larger bost in electron transfer. Alternaters could generate up to or greater than 90 amps maximum. This helped bring this battery voltage back to around 12.5 volts.

When I turn the key on and crank my bike now, I have no drag in The cranking and starting of my bike and that makes a huge difference it doesn’t wear out so many inner parts of my engine.

So far so good I got it to work and it's been great.
