    A wonderful baritone voice on many of the songs which we've grown up with

Growing up, there were two male singers that I wanted to emulate as far as voice quality, Andy Williams and George Beverly Shea.  Well, I never quite got that good.  This double CD has 50 of Shea's songs.  His wonderful baritone comes out clear on the songs, but 50 of his songs at once is a bit much, so I'll break it up with other artists.  I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 because some of the songs such as "In the Garden" are on my list of not wanting to ever hear again songs.  Also, his rendition of "He's Got the Whole World In His Hands" drags.  I interpret that song as more up tempo and his version is so slow it seems like it will never end.

I love listening to George Beverly Shea sing.  My mother did also. The CD unfortunately arrived days before she passed away.  We were able to play it during the family time before her funeral.
