4-in-1 Toilet Care, Sapphire Waters, 50 Gram

I bought this bc of the rating, and lysol similar product bc of the brand name. I am writing this after the soft scrub is done, and i just installed the lysol. And i really liked this, and now that the lysol one is not nearly as good, i wanted to write a review. When i opened the package, it smelled like cheap mens cologne to me. I of course had no idea what "sapphire" was going to smell like. **To my great delight, the scent really grew on me as I used it**, almost immediately. They said it would last 4 weeks, but mine went 6 easy and could have gone another week - it is easy to see how it is doing, as the 4 clear balls allow you to see how much cleaner is left. I really changed it at 6 weeks just to try the lysol one, which was a disappointent (along with every single gel insert i have ever tried, all smell good for 1 day then nothing). I just re-ordered and bought 4 - the scent was not strong, did not fill the room, only a whiff when you lifted the bowl. Ideal! Also I am diabetic, which means i "go" a lot, and i am dieting so a mandatory 6 bottles of 16 ox water or 12 glasses a day, so when i say this lasted six weeks, it was a very very frequent usage during that six weeks. this kicks the snot out of the other brands. "Sapphire" will grow on you fast. I miss it - as i geared, this lysol "Atlantic" has no smell whatsoever.

I really like this product as it works well helpingkerp the toilet nice between general cleanings. Sadly at this time, October of 2025, I haven't been able to get it, so I do keep checking Amazon.

This product was easy to use, smelled good, but didn't quite clean as well as I had hoped. We have very hard water which is pumped directly from a well, so its reduced effectiveness is probably due to that. I still had to put my own muscle into removing the hard water ring, but all in all it did help me reduce the reformation of that nasty hard water ring.

Suppressed the 'toilet bowl ring' for as long as it lasted. Does not have strong smell. Does not turn the water in to blue ink. Can be a little tricky to hang, need to be exposed to the water stream when flushed. The price also fluctuate like crazy.

This Is a great product. I have been using it for several years. First, it has bleach. That is necessary to do the real job. It became hard to find any hanging product that contained bleach. Then, when I found the typical " cake" on a stick, as it was used it LOOKED terrible, the cake was eroded and crumbly. It LOOKED dirty. BUT THIS product continues to look decent, almost decorative in the bowl. The 2 plastic balls containing the bleach and 2 others with the surfactant realease the content cleanly. Only occasionally do you see a bit of a dry compound at the bottom of the plastic. So, hang it where it actually is visible. And it really does the job, keeping the bowl "clean" between actual cleanings ( yes, you really should do still do that). And it makes that cleaning easier. Hint..if, as sometimes happens, there is a little left in a bleach ball or a surfactant ball, hang it on the other side when you put in the new one. Why waste it? Then a few days or a week later, toss the empty.

I tried this against the Lysol brand and found that Lysol was way too strong. Soft Scrub, however, has a nice, long lasting scent that doesn't overpower. While the toilet needs a regular cleaning, this did seem to remove the water line stain on the side that I put it on.
