Are there different colors available? I think I’d rather have black squares than pink ones.

Is this just for show or can you play this like regular chess? There appears to be too many squares on this board

Just like a typical chessboard there are 64 squares on the ST3D board. However, it doesn't play the same as 2D chess. You'll need to review the instructions that come with the board to effectively play the game.

How good and thick is the instruction manuel? Is it hard or softcover? For the price. I hope it's hard.

Hi. Nope. Its just a gloss paper, 3 pages with diagrams. It could be a little more descriptive. Actually there are other instructions that can be found on-line under Tri-Dimensional chess.

I got one of these as a gift but it came with with 2 black queens instead of a king and queen. Is there a way i may be able to get a black king?
