What reactive agent brand do you recommend to mix with this?

You can mix it with anything that will catalyze they decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, like metal complexes and horse radish peroxidase. I used the copper II sulfate pentahydrate complex but you can also use iron ferricyanide. The key is to use something that will decompose hydrogen peroxide because that decomposition reaction is necessary for luminescence to occur. In addition, the luminol must be in a basic solution, or the reaction will not work. You can use pH buffer packets to do this or simply dissolve it in a water solution with something basic, like sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).
