## Overview

The ZERO GRAVITY Sport's Trampoline Tie Down Kit features four heavy-duty galvanized steel corkscrew stakes paired with industrial-strength nylon straps and fixed steel buckles tested to 150KG load strain. ## Description

Do I need a tie down kit? If your trampoline is located in an exposed position or if storm force winds are predicted we would strongly recommend securing your trampoline with a tie down kit. In February 2017 storm Doris hit the UK, the stories we were told after the storm hit were staggering. Trampolines cleared 8ft fences in the wind, customers found their trampolines resting in the street outside their houses the next morning and the record distance travelled was some 800 metres. Luckily the storm hit in the middle of the night so no one was injured by a flying trampoline. In all some 5% of all Zero Gravity trampolines fitted WITHOUT a tie down kit were damaged in the storm. If I fit a tie down kit am I guaranteed that my trampoline won't go flying? The answer unfortunately is no, our straps can cope with a load strain over 150KG so are extremely unlikely to snap, however if you soil is weak then at this force the stake may be pulled from the ground. All we can say is that the risk of damage will be significantly reduced. Are instructions included with the kit? Detailed instructions on how to fit the tie down kit are included, these can be viewed online also. Is your soil full of stones or rocks? If the answer is yes then we would strongly recommend that you check the soil where you intend to fit the stakes. Take a long screwdriver and check to see if it can be pushed down at least 25cms into the soil. If this is not possible then you will not be able to fit the stakes in the normal manner but you could dig holes in required positions and cement them into the ground.

Review: These trampoline tie downs are really effective. They came well packaged with easy to understand instructions. I actually only used two to tie down my trampoline, so I now have two spare for a friend who needs some. Really good value for money. You simply screw these into soft ground to create a strong anchor point. I suggest using a strong stick to turn the screw. PROS: 1. As long as you have soft ground under the trampoline, these will screw into the ground to create a solid fixing point for the ties. 2. The ties are long and very strong. They come with a buckle so that you can tie down the trampoline (or anything else) tightly. 3. The instructions were very clear, particularly for looping the tie through the buckle. 4. These are really easy to install (it took me around 5 minutes for each tie) and so will be really easy to move when the time comes. I might need to shift the trampoline slightly, and it's made easier because these take minutes to take out and install again. 5. These seem durable. The metal screws are good quality and the ties are made of quality fabric, so I get the feeling that these will last for years, even with the rain, snow and cold weather I get here. CONS: I honestly can't think of any negative points. Perhaps two screws and ties would have been sufficient in a pack, but the extra two will be put to use at some point I'm sure. Overall, I'm really pleased that I opted for this product as I know it will last years, and perhaps I will never have to buy a product like this again. Well worth the money.

- The straps use fixed steel buckles rather than click together connectors used by other brands. Yes they are more fiddly to fit but are far stronger. In testing we found that some of our compeors connectors broke when a load of just 60Kg was applied to them.
- Please check the location that you intend to fit the stakes to see if the soil is suitable before purchasing. Use a long screwdriver to probe into the ground to ensure that no large stones are present that would prevent the stake from screwing fully down.

These trampoline tie downs are really effective. They came well packaged with easy to understand instructions. I actually only used two to tie down my trampoline, so I now have two spare for a friend who needs some. Really good value for money. You simply screw these into soft ground to create a strong anchor point. I suggest using a strong stick to turn the screw. PROS: 1. Die Bodenanker sind stabil und waren sehr einfach zu montieren. Die Verankerung im Boden ist absolut stabil. Wir haben damit ein Trampolin verankert.

A l'air très robuste. À voir avec le temps mais installé pour maintenir le trampoline et nous avons eu 2 tempêtes avec grosse rafales de vent et Ras il fait son taf :-) très bon rapport qualité prix.
