I have several trimmers and some of them cost twice as much as this trimmer. I am very pleased with this trimmer. It is well constructed and has sharp edges. And it is very reasonably priced. I would definitely purchase it again.

These are fantastic pruners. I keep many pairs around. They stay sharp so do clean cuts and are the perfect size for my hands. The pruning action is easy too ... I do a lot of pruning so that's important so that my hands don't get tired. I've used these pruners for about 5 or more years now and rarely sharpen any of my pairs.

I now own three for front and back yard storage. They are extremely precise, no tearing or ripping from the most delicate plant (drift roses) to a heavier stem or small branch. The safe closure clip at the end of the handles is most helpful. The grip accommodates small and large hands. The red and white color aids in the event that one loses it in the grass, easy to spot! Exceptionally sharp - elegantly simple and light design which fits well in the hand. Like having sharp scissors (for fibrous flax) and also great for pruning branches. Have tried plenty of different pruners over the years - these are outstanding precision Japanese design.

A little heavier than other similar tools but very sharp and easy to use.
