Purchased this for my elderly parents. Has been a game changer for them. Definitely worth the price. Easy to operate control.

The motor works fine, it moves the fence as expected, doesn't use much space. Easy to instal. However, one of the remote controls broke just a month after using it, it doesn't open the gate fully and a red light stays on all the time. We removed the batteries, but it back on and the problem persists. It is the remote because the other one opens and closes the gate without any issue. So, maybe it is just a defective piece but I don't pay to get defective items. That's the reason for the 4 stars.

My previous 2 openers were exactly like this one…just a different “names”. The previous 2 the board went bad twice. I have this one longer than the previous two lasted. The short challenges that I had were the following. 1. Instructions are written through a translator program that lose you. - so went online to a popular site that assists with DIY projects. 2. Lining up the magnets for the automatic opening & closing. 3. While you should be able to use the previous opener remotes (because the frequency is identical); it difficult to sync.

So far great no problems but the remotes take a 27A battery never saw a battery that small before.

I waited this long because I wanted to see what would happen within a year and the gate opener stopped working. It still received signal the motor still works but for some reason it just won't open. Complete waste of money and apparently they no longer sell this model which kind of lets me know they know it was trash.

Thinking outside the box, I used this product for a movie prop truck I created requiring a "unique" feature...a gunner's retractable door. I removed the door, created a platform, then attached this sliding gate opener to give it that tactical advantage for a "Mad Max" style scene in the movie! You have to see the video to get the idea. Easy to install, very strong power to pull, and as said, it can be used for other projects requiring an open-close or up & down feature.
