My daughter's name is 7 letters long so I would probably go with a longer stool instead so that the letter's weren't as small. Didn't give it any more than that because the picture is very misleading... both of the pictures are pastel lettering, but the colors on this product are actually primary colors. They do not offer to replace the letters for free, nor are they very apologetic about it. They also did not get back to me in a very timely fashion.
