Reconciling Some Good and Bad Reviews I've Seen
OK: so I get super wary buying things like this when it feels like I see tons of positive reviews that just say "Great!" but a good number of negatives that say more specific things like "Not sturdy" or "Only good for ground posing." Here's the thing: I have all 8 of these stands being used right now for aerial poses. Been that way for over a week. Six of them are bent in the air or suspended far from where their base is. How did I pull this off when plenty of reviews mention how they CAN'T be used this way? To answer that, we need to understand how these stands are designed, and from there, we can overcome the design flaw. Unlike the stands I typically use, the arms of these are hollow on both ends, and are plugged into pegs on either side. (See picture) Problem is that the arms can fairly easily ROTATE AROUND THE ARM'S LONGITUDINAL AXIS, and each one can do so on either end. So, if you have a heavy figure attached to the end of your stand, and tightly screw the actual joints in place to do some interesting mid-air pose, the arms can (and will) still rotate around the pegs at each joint, and gravity will induce them to rotate in such a way as to get your heavy figure lying flat on the ground. Not a problem of the screwed-in joints - a problem of the arms plugging into the joint pegs. BUT this is very easily overcome with some Loctite super glue! I just put a bit of glue into the hollow openings of the arms, slotted them into their pegs, rotated them to be as straight as possible with the joints, and bam! Perfectly working stands! To be clear, you do NOT glue the joints themselves (that would kind of defeat the point...); in fact, when gluing the pegs in, make sure no excess glue comes out and gets on the joints, otherwise the arms won't be able to bend. The glue is to stop the arm-axis rotation, not the actual joint bending. With that problem out of the way, I've managed to get some good mid-air poses out of my stands, as the pictures show. I will say the joints themselves aren't quite as strong as official Tamashii ones - but I've still managed to make it work just fine via the tightening of the joint screws. My figures are displayed on a shelf unit on my desk, and it is commonly being knocked by kids, wife, or even me. Yet, not ONE of my aerial figures has come down. So despite the strength not appearing AS good as Tamashii's... for all intents and purposes, it's been just fine! I did have a few fall over when I brought them down to take pics for this review (laughably, one wasn't glued and the arms rotated to make him fall LOL), but in terms of them working in my static display, no problems at all! Couple extra bits I want to touch on: 1) Some people leave negative reviews for not getting all pieces. I can totally believe that. I think I somehow ended up with an extra piece, and I'm really not sure how (since they come in plastic racks that you have to pop them out of, with 8 pre-packaged racks total). 2) Another problem I've seen people mention is pieces not fitting. I had this problem: the small clip-arms you have to plug into the clip-body had problems fitting in due to tiny bits of excess plastic being inside the holes. I just "dug" this excess plastic out a bit with my sharp tweezers and my tiny screwdriver, and I got all of them to fit in and function just fine. 3) These pegs and holes seem to be a different size than Tamashii's, as I put one clip on the end of a Tamashii stand, and it doesn't slot in tightly - instead, it just precariously is "on" it. Don't anticipate mixing and matching pieces much. 4) Because you assemble these yourself, you can make short stands or extra long ones, as you like. This is a nice bonus as far as I'm concerned, though I haven't done either yet (no need so far). My final thoughts are highly positive. I was previously 3D printing my own stands to match the Tamashii style, but those are barely translucent (if even), can easily break, and probably cost more to make than these do. I'm about to order another set of these just because I really did like them that much. I highly recommend these stands for the budget-minded like me, and may honestly never go back to buying the vastly more expensive Tamashii ones!

Pretty great
I purchased these as an alternative to some Obitsu stands I've also bought from Amazon previously. While the Obitsu stands have a little more customization (larger clamps, mostly), these Xistest stands are still very useful. I like the bases on the Xistest more. One or two extension arms can be used -- one arm is best for helping a character to stand or any pose lower to the ground. Two arms are for those higher altitude flying or hovering poses. I've tested with a 6" Marvel Legends figure without problems so far. As with many stands like these, the joints use friction and nut/bolt connections. They're not ratcheted. They will only hold so much weight and still require some balancing. I definitely wouldn't use these for any larger figure like a Hulk or Juggernaut unless it's just to help them in a standing pose. Best suited are standard humanoid characters from SHF, Mafex, Marvel Legends. Figures with die-cast parts or heavy accessories, or McFarlane/NECA 7" figures, those may have too much heft for the two arms to keep aloft -- one arm should still be able to assist in posing these.

some minor issues but extremely affordable stands.
For starters, I collect action figures and some have difficulty standing so I needed stands. I found these for extremely cheap and bought them. They arrived very quickly, 2 came with each of the joints assembled, I just had to fasten them together. the rest were all in bags on sprues (if you're familiar with Gundam action bases, you build these the same way, almost). Every part was there, nothing missing, however on mine, one of the nuts would not fasten to the bolt, so one of my stands I can't use the third arm joint (I don't need it anyway but a PSA nonetheless). For those who buy these, tighten everything as tight as you can, unlike action bases these rely heavily on friction to maintain their position, and if it's not they will pop loose. I think my only complaint with these is they rely so heavily on friction they're finicky to pose and a bump and they'll lose their position, if you have figures in the air anyway. I've tried both Lightning Collection figures and Deluxe Class transformers, both are supported effortlessly with the bolts properly tightened. Overall I think these are well worth the price minus the minor flaw, because you get 8 for what 2 "better" stands would cost. if you're mainly needing to support figures in basic poses and not trying to have extremely dynamic scenes, they work great. If you're wanting to pose heavier figures, I'd recommend Action bases or similar. Also, i will be buying more of these because they're good for the price and once I have more space I really want to test what they can do.

Okay for smaller gunpla
Bought these primarily as stands for Gundam model kits, primarily 1/144th scale. These work okay - the gripping arms work alright if the kit is small enough. The thing I was primarily looking to do was to use the peg on the arm to use the stand slots in kits. The problem with this is that these parts are cast pretty poorly so there are mold lines everywhere and they are big enough to cause fitment issues. My solution was to sand down the mold lines and get them to a point where they would fit in the stand slots on the kits. The arms are relatively sturdy, but don't expect to get wild posing where the arm is extended and supporting the kit. My heavier kits have trouble with the arms, but if you just want stands to have your kits in a general standing position and not airborne, this will do the trick.

Stable for lighter action figures
Pretty good and stable. Struggles carrying some of my Gundams but it does well with Dragon Ball action figures.

Horrible
These can't even hold the lightest of figures. Not only that, they can't hold shorter figures. I was using figures from the DragonBall series, the posable ones that you can buy at walmart/gamestop/etc. Those, and every other posable figure I have, are too small. The DragonBall ones are an average size for posable figures, and they are still too small. I can't imagine what this moronic company even makes these stands for. Nothing would fit on them. the only way to even use these with those figures, is holding them up off the ground. But not even THAT is possible. Young Gohan, the SMALLEST, and Android 18, the LIGHTEST, of those poseable DragonBall figures, is STILL too heavy. for these stands. They just tip right over! DO NOT BUY THESE! These are a rip off! This company just wants to take your money. I will be getting a refund! I haven't gone through that yet, but if they try to not let me, I will FORCE them to give my money back. How dare they sell these cheap pieces of garbage!

Trash! Awful, Cheap, Fall Apart Easily for NO Reason - DONT PURCHASE!
Ok, so I purchased these in the hope of organizing my collection to get things looking neater around my area: home office type desk in a corner where I draw, design, research, sketch and other things. I've collected a few figures that are really special to me. Plus, I have a couple of unique art model figures from Japan that are forefront for my personal character design - a pricey male and female pair. These came with this down stands similar in appearance to what I'm reviewing now. Theirs are good, solid quality. I can move them various poses using the stand arm to hold some dynamic poses I'm trying to draw. Great stuff. After a while, I realized I needed matching stands for my other figures. I purchased these after doing a lot of research and investigating. But, I also didn't Want to spend a lot of money either. I came across the price of this particular item , compared it to the many others that were the same and read every review. Unfortunately, I don't think we are talking about the same product! Because the one I received is junk. I have since reread the reviews wondering whatvhappemed . how could mine be so wrong? They connect and they bend as they should. I try to attach my figures - the very same size and shape as every figure made, nothing different. Yet, the plastic comes apart easiky, the pieces do not stay connected and they do not hold together as they shluld. I've tried getting in touch with the seller but othing . perhaps I received a bad batch? It happens. But they do not do as they are intended and they refuse to remain connected even if a small wind from me passing by 6" or more. They collapse and pieces go everywhere. I am not happy. If others who claim these are good have used them to showcase any figures or whatever collection, I cannot understand how it is possible. I'm still using the few I have been able to place in ways that minimize their collapse, but if I go to barely move a sword or gun in one of my figures hands,it sets off a chain of epic proportions. No, I'm not overgeneralizing anything. This specific product may look !one of fits what you need, but Amazon needs to know facts about it. Not fake reviews.

Bases delicadas

Too tight on the connection point of the stand
I use this for my 6 inches figure. I like the design that it does not have the feet fix(as most figure has different hole size underneath their feet, it will be inconvenient). The assembly is tough as the junction point of the stand is too tight, it makes the stand difficult to support the waist of the figure also. Getting the components from the frame it comes with is tough and inconvenient. The stand can finish the posing but others can easily be better than this one.
