I bought this when building my own computer - I chose it due to the sleek looking design and the amount of fans, I wanted something that will keep my computer cool - especially with the amount I use it. It was very easy to put everything inside the computer. As it is a full size case, it meant nothing was squashed and all of my components fit inside perfectly. The hidden compartment means the wires are concealed behind, so when you look through the side window there's no mess of tangled wires. The blue lights are a great feature - at night time it stands out and the whole look is very smart. I love how the match the front panels. The fans are almost silent. The only time I ever notice them is if I'm doing something that requires a lot of processing - usually playing games in the highest settings, but it's not something I tend to notice, it definitely doesn't detract away from playing.

I have just returned after a long term overseas contract and to save weight I left my Thermaltake Elements G case behind and just bought the mobo home to make a storage PC. The case is so cheap I thought I had been sent a Chinese no-brand case. Flimsy metal, cheap plastic HDD trays when we should be moving away from such materials, once you remove the rear close-outs and the 5.25 optical bay closures - you will never get them to fit back in as the tin foil metal bends irreparably. Also the numerous sharp edges from breaking out said closures cut your hand with annoying regularity. God how I wish I had bought mt Elements G case home - it was everything that this one is not. Buy a different brand as Thermaltake are no longer a quality manufacturer. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.

This a very good budget case that will fill the needs of most folks. I bought this case to replace and old case that I've had since 2004. It was heavy, not very good looking and a beast to work with. I built a new PC in December 2016 and just used my old case but last week I had a hard drive give out on me and figured hellsbells lets just buy a new case. I'm glad I did. I've built several computers over the years and I've always liked Thermaltake cases, along with their other products, my power supply is a Thermaltake 800W unit and I have a couple of Thermaltake case fans. This case is much lighter than my last case but the dimensions aren't that far off. The window panel is fine and lets you see the "guts" of the computer AOK. My motherboard is an ATX Gigabyte board and i7 Pentium processor. No problem with room for either one. I like that the standoffs are built into the case. What I really liked was the power supply on the bottom of the case...it just made it easier to work on. Now I just have a Gigabyte Radeon RX 550 v/c and it fit in there easily but it is nowhere near the longest card out there so you'll want to check on the card length before buying the case. I have solid state drives and used the 3½" bays...tool less? Meh...I just secured my drives the old fashioned way with mounting screws. I didn't use the bottom 5½" drive bays yet. The top bay is mounted a Blue Ray read/write drive. Now to the fans. You can use 120mm fans. There is one that comes with the case that is mounted in the back and is quiet enough. You can use 2 120mm in the front...those are not included but easy enough to install. As you can tell there is a large ventilation area on the top but there isn't a fan mount. You'd be hard pressed to fit one from the inside and placing one on the outside would just detract from the looks of the case...that would be the only real negative I have and it's relatively minor.

First off, there's a not so great buzz about the shipping of cases here. let me say amazon shipped my package securely on their end, and Thermaltake themselves shipped my A31 Chaser exceptionally well! There was more safety packing than i knew what to do with when all was said and done. my build: case-chaser A31 mobo- asus M5A97 R2.0 cpu- amd fx8350 gpu- sapphire R9270x dual-x 4gb psu- evga supernova 650W 80+G modular cpu cooler- cooler master hyper evo 212 storage- 1tb segate - samsung 120G 850 evo fans-a million (2 cheapy rosewill top, 2 that came with the case front, 1 cheapy but excellent rosewill exhaust) now the case itself cons- it is probably the tallest mid-tower case i've found.the case itself is not exceptionally tall but the feet on the bottom raise is around an inch and a 3/4 so it does fall a fingernail below 20 inches.if you plan on putting this under your desk it most likely will be more cramped than you'd like (and assuming you bought this case for its ventilation like i did, you defiantly wouldn't like to have the top vents choked by your desk) -the removable front and top panels are visibly plastic and mixed with metal side panels it never fits 1000% flush. if you know anything about restored cars the idea of flush panels is not quite perfect on this, but honestly from more than 6 inches away it won't break your heart. -although there are some nice wiring tie-offs built in the back, it is alotttttt tighter to get the panel back on after managment than you'd think. not impossible but a second person is covenant when closing.not less than an average mid-tower case though. so this is not a big issue. (plus read my build.i doubt you'll have more wires than i do crammed back there) -power button is bright bright blue, and if you let your pc sleep it flashes like a disco ball. but i shut down at night so makes no difference to me. -not silent optimized, but come on, you're buying this for airflow. if you want a silent optimized case i'd recommend some of the NZXT offerings. PROS- all summed up in one -the price range. there's only 1-2 other cases within $10-20 of this price range that have as much on board. the ventilation is obvious.the glass is clear which makes build problem solving and 2nd guessing so easy (did i plug the mobo in or is it doa?) .dust filters evvvvverywhere. I have a st.bernard with super long hair and these dust filters are keeping my windowed build nice and clean. the honey comb on the bottom is even nicer than i felt like advertised, and the drive bay filters couldn't be easier to manage.6 fan ports. 2 usb 3.0's on the front panel. a reset button. detachable middle drive tray for better ventilation( super easy to take out). in fact, all the drive bays are easy to swap the holders out. for a first time build i felt spoiled. and honestly i wouldn't say it's the prettiest case ever made, but it does look quite good. As someone who was totally against LED fans at the start of this build, im already thinking i should make this thing glow like the sun.and unfortunately there's no many videos i could find on this case and i know some people were saying you couldn't fit the corsair H- series cooler - you can. the top pops off and you can mount the fans on the outside of the case ( but still under the filter) and an H-100 rad under neath in the case.now super thick rad's would be a pinch but there's more wiggle room than a few reviews i've read. Build notes- THE HYPER EVO 212 DOES FIT! There's not alot of wiggle room, but there is about 1/4-1/8 of an inch between the cooler tips and the glass.i'm running it right now as im typing. chilling at 30C. mid 40's under load. PSU- there is a fan port for a 120mm at the bottom of the case but depending on your psu, your psu may cover the front screw holes for the fan. with the EVGA supernova 650W you CAN NOT place a fan there. it will be covered. however i did have a cheapy 650 for a few days that did not cover it, so look into your specs. but honestly 5 fans will probably do just fine. love it
