**Q: How’s mobility in them, can you get a comfortable squat in them, I wanna know if there good for long steep hikes?**
A: They are perfect for not only hiking but doing maintenance in, as well. I am one of the many trail maintainers on the Benton MacKaye Trail, usually wearing one of my 10 pairs of Tru Spec 24-7 long pants, when working the trail for deadfall and limb removal. These things are very durable and I've never worn a pair out in the 5 yrs I have owned them. They do not shrink, are rip resistant and allow any kind of comfortable squat or kneeling positions you want, all with extreme comfort.  The shorts are identical and results are the same. If you buy a pair and don't like them, I'd be very very surprised.  I like them much much better than the 511 pants.
