This is coming from the perspective of a professional slides technician. I thought I would pick up this set as an addition to my existing slides. I wasnt expecting much, but these are really very poor in terms of content. For someone who is just getting their first microscope, they are still meh, but do provide a set of items to look at. From an educational standpoint, these are barely functional. nearly all slides had a lot of debris on, under and around the tissue. Stains are sporadic and not the best to illustrate what is being claimed on the label. 2 slides appear to have missed staining completely. Sectioned tissues are all extremely thick, obscuring structures you should see and this is compounded by stain density. The thick tissues also result in a lot of tissue breakage, fragmentation and lifting adding more debris to the slides. The best slides from the set are the insect whole mounts, which apart from some debris, tend to be fair. If you just want something to look at, but dont want to learn about what you see, these are probably good.
