After getting sick, a few days later the cough started. I gave it to my kids straight out of the bottle and the taste was a little strong for them but with a sip of water afterwards, it was fine. It is easy to use and add to any drink or yogurt for kids. I started using it according to the instructions for a couple of days. By the second day of using it, my cough was dramatically reduced. By the 3rd day, it was basically gone. I love the quality ingredients and herbs. At one ounce, it is small and can tend to run out faster than if it was larger. I don't mind the smell at all but I don't mind herbs. It depends on the person.
