Makes it a lot smaller BUT! if you flip it over it’s identical without the sticky tabs and work a lot better leaving the paper in the tabs to control the bleed through. Rather you use the sticky side or not it’s quite normal for the blood to seep to the surface of the pad. Paper up and paper on protects clothes. It’s a good barrier. But yeh overall they’re great. Don’t stick to the wound, soft, comfortable, not too thick (think that’s why it seeps) but thick enough to get the job done. Quirky yes but I still recommend them. I only buy these. Can’t beat the price and pretty good quality. I only use to buy “ban-day-d” brand but they’re terribly expensive so I to grabbed these and like I said they’re a little quirky but they’re really good.
