These are the best designed countertop filters on Amazon-they remove 90-98% of the most commonly found PFAS in drinking water, they remove microplastics and Fluoride, and of course they top the ratings for removal of heavy metals. A lot of other filters claim to remove all of those things too, but this particular filter also is rated for removing protozoans-things like giardia in rivers/lakes-which makes this counter top filter also perform double duty as an emergency water filter when you have "boil water" orders or even for just camping! Is it slow to fill? YES, and that's a good thing-you know it's doing its job when you see that drip, drip, drip. If a pitcher filter fills quickly, stay away from it no mater how good it sounds because it takes time for these gravity filters to do their job well.
