Perfect
This made my scratch coat perfect for the next step in the application of ledger stone. I saw a video where a mason used duct tape across the teeth of this tool, about half an inch from the tips, to keep the prongs from creating excessive push out of the scratch coating; it worked perfectly! Strongly recommend this tool and the duct tape.

This is a handy tool which I use to make "keys" between layers of plaster. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

Good value for the money
This tool is a must have for putting a decent scratch coat on a wall for laying veneer stone or doing stucco. Just make sure to clean it when your done mortar can get easily stuck in the tines.
