**Q: I haven't sewn for 40 years and am recently trying to get back into it.  I have never heard of a stiletto.  What is it?**
A: A stiletto is a tool that can help you keep the fabrics aligned when sewing. By Annie's stiletto has a great point and a rough surface that can grab the top fabric and pull it in place.  I use mine when piecing a quilt or handbag to make sure the top and bottom fabrics are aligned.  This is a great product.

**Q: smooth or textured**
A: The wooden handle is smooth. The metal point has a bit of texture. Great sewing tool. In use mine frequently.

**Q: Does the Metal tip become oxidized if not used for awhile?**
A: I’m not sure if I’d call it oxidized but it is dull in color.  I haven’t used it too long but that is what I’ve noticed.

**Q: Could this tool be used for tucking fabric in for ornaments**
A: I would think so. This tool is used for keeping the binding on bags nice and straight and also you can tuck in threads that have come out before you saw the binding down.
