With curl keeper (original), I've cleaned my cabinet out of hair products, and it feels so good! For those of you who want clarity, I'll give you details. Hopefully they'll help you determine if this product could be good for you. I have very curly, fine yet thick hair. I believe my curl pattern is considered 3b/3c. I relax it every 3 months so I can enjoy its evolution from less curly to thicker curls, and I wear it curly using a T3 dryer & ion diffuser. Being in my 40's, I've tried just about everything, and was used to a combination of products. Even with the best Deva curl products for my hair type, I still had issues with frizz etc. Obviously with relaxers, your new hair growth can create more frizz because of the difference in curl pattern. I mistakenly believed the "naturally curly" hair proponents who said such frizz is impossible to avoid if you relax your hair. I dealt with it because I loved having flexibility with my hair —and now this product totally negates that statement. With curl keeper, my hair is consistently fabulous throughout the changes, and I love it in all of its stages. It looks fabulous right up until the moment it's getting relaxed again. Also this is the first product that keeps me hair feeling soft even when it's become much coarser before relaxing. One of the main reasons for the lack of frizz (I believe) is that I can comb it! After years of using the "rake" method to minimize frizz —I comb my hair thoroughly in the shower, and then comb it again after I put this product in it. I give it a little scrunching to direct the curl pattern, let it air dry for 15-20 minutes, and then diffuse it for gorgeous SOFT curls. Yes soft! Its softness is another one of my favorite things about this product. My hair feels so soft, no stickiness or crunchiness. It's made me fall in love with my hair. I just love the way it feels. It also keeps its volume when I sleep on it, and I can easily revive it with some simple fluffing of my hair. Normally because my hair is so fine, I'd have to make sure it was super wet before adding products. My hair literally dries so quickly. However, this product is a very wet, slippery product unlike gels. So if you have quick drying hair, you won't have to have it so wet during styling. Too much water will make it impossible for the product to stay in your hair. Once I've let my hair air dry for 15-20 minutes, and am ready to dry it, I may add just a little product to the ends and scrunch them again lightly. This is because this product is so light in your hair. I find that giving the ends a little extra product right before drying gives me gorgeous curls with that extra bit of hold in case the product dissipated during the air dry time. I also love that you can put your hands in your hair as it's drying, and it's not sticky. Just keep in mind that the product states the less you handle your hair when drying, the better. The more simple your approach, the better you hair will look. Again —this product is so unique that you need to trust it and give yourself a little time to find your sweet spot in terms of your individual curls and how much works best for you. If you've been using product combos, you may resist believing in what this stuff can do. It's truly a paradigm shift in styling lol, but this product has been such a game changer for me. I actually find myself with my hands in my curls just enjoying how soft and voluminous they are. I have never loved and enjoyed my hair the way I do today. Hope this helps you! Cheers ; )

La botella es enorme, es suficiente cantidad del producto para varios meses, aunque hay que usar mucho, como lo indican las instrucciones. Hasta ahora me ha funcionado bien, mi cabello es 3A/3B y aunque no me encanta cómo queda, es lo único que me ha funcionado desde que descontinuaron el gel que usaba, no tengo frizz y los rizos se quedan en su lugar. No me ha servido para más de un día, no se mantienen los rizos. Es recomendable usar vinagre para balancear el PH después de usarlo un tiempo, porque se va quedando en el cabello algún residuo y humectar con algún tratamiento, porque mientras más sano esté el cabello, este producto funciona mejor. Espero poder adquirir más y que se venda toda la línea de la marca.

Since adding this product to my regime (wash with treseme naturals conditioner and leaving some in, seal with a couple of drops of rosemary essential oil, scrunch in boots pink cream, scrunch in a generous amount of curl keeper and finish off with some Eco gel-phew!), I get much more definition to my 2c/3a hair. The first time I used it, four different people complimented me on my hair :) I was concerned that it was a bit too expensive, but the bottle lasts about 6 weeks and I don't scrimp when I use this product. That's the secret to it-use too little and it's not worth it. Your hair should be squelching by the time your scrunch this through.

This stuff is amazing. I've tried and tried to find a better-priced alternative that I can get locally, but I haven't found its equal--even in professional beauty supply stores. I've been using it for years, so the price increase (it's doubled in price in the past few years) has been a difficult pill to swallow. I will keep searching for a replacement. For specifics about why I like it: it keeps my hair from frizzing and holds my curl pattern while it dries. It's crunchy until it's fully dry, then I can break the cast and the crunchiness is gone, leaving natrual-looking curls. Sometimes it seems like it's less effective at keeping the curls intact, so I use a clarifying shampoo from time to time to prevent buildup. I also love the original scent--if it was stronger, I would worry about chemicals that damage hair, but it's subtle enough to alleviate that concern.

I really like this stuff! I didn't see much difference at first, but I was trying to use it sparingly because I've had horrible hair days before because I used too much if a product for my hair. Well I used it a bit more last time I showered, put it on soaking wet hair before my mousse and gently scrunched with my microfiber towel for 10 second per section after my mousse. My waves are actually curls in some places now! I'm loving it right now!
