It cleans more like Windex. I intended to use it for cleaning countertops and sinks. The finished result isn't as shiny as Windex, and it definitely lacks any real power. I was disappointed in the scent, as well. For someone who likes cleaning products virtually scent-free, it would be pleasing. I like a good scent, and purchased this because of its aromatherapy claim. It really doesn't suit my needs. There is no deodorizing effect and no disinfectant qualities. But, to be fair, the product made no disinfectant claims. This is an outstanding product that cleans without leaving any residue and it smells good, but not overpowering. It's superior to other cleaners I've tried and I'm seldom impressed; but Pure Care All Purpose Cleaner and Pure Care Bathroom Cleaner have "wowed" me. Cleaning is not on my list of favorite things to do and I don't have time to go over and over things to be cleaned, I need a product to work quickly and effectively.
