Can it be used as a power source for an electric breadboard circuit?

Maybe. It would all depend on the power requirements of your breadboard. If your board design only consumes 5W this will be overkill, and with the 150W capacity in a small size with low cost there would be other tradeoffs. It will likely be pretty noisy and may make your circuit behave strangely if it is expecting a cleaner power source.

I have a similar transformer but mine is rated for 80 watt. I only have 6 bulbs that are 10 watts each. Can I still use this one?

Yes - it will still work. These transformers need at least 50watts of load to kick on, so as long as the combination of wattage of your bulbs is greater than 50watts then it should kick on just fine.

It may not be the most efficient transformer to use but the LEDs are designed as replacements for 12V AC wired systems so it will likely work fine.
